The coolest thing to come out of Bristol since Darth Vader, Nicole Blaze is set to make her mark on the UK music scene.

Passionate about the arts, she first got a chance to work with a local producer at age 17 and since then has been writing and performing fervently.

Nicole went on to work with drum ‘n’ bass pioneer Roni Size and newcomers Drew Milligan, Krunchie and Ronnie Ubo. Studying drums and piano has given her an unconventional approach to music writing. Her sound pulsates with driving beats laced with sweet melodies.

There’s an undeniable nod in her writing to some of her old skool heroines such as Salt ‘n’ Pepa, Queen Latifah, Missy and Mary J.Blige.

She’s already taken her show to Moscow, Dubai and Germany and is currently in the studio working on her debut album, to be released on First Stryke Records in 2009.
